Thundercats - Hmmmmmm
Review date: 2007-05-28 Rating: 4 out of 10
When I was 9-10, I loved the Thundercats. Now, at age 28, I have a son of my own and am keen to relive my childhood.
I purchased Thundercats - Ho through ebay and can only assume that as a child I was woefully naive. Imagine a script that seems as if it has been written, and the dialogue voiced, by a bunch of Kevin Costners and Darryl Hannahs. Yes, it IS that wooden. Imagine a storyline so thin that it is really just a merchandising vehicle. Welcome to Thundercats - Ho!

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats Ho! thundercats. HO my godReview date: 2006-03-02 Rating: 10 out of 10I recently bought this movie because as a child i had recorded it from the TV. It has lost non of its appeal. It still has all the drama all the heart and the lessons it teach young children are still just as important (if not more so) in todays ASBO central society. every story has a moral however cheesily they are delivered. the movie is no exception. If you are a cult 80's cartoon nut you'll love it. If you are a parent looking for some good family fun which will teach your kids some good lesson in a way they can understand then this what your looking for. If your just a big kid who wants to recapture the innocence of youth then this is the one for you. Just buy it. and remember the thundercats way. justice truth honour loyalty.Nostalgia OverloadReview date: 2003-06-20 Rating: 10 out of 10This is an outatanding film and a true essential to all fans of cult/eighties cartoons. This is a film much over shadowed by Transformers: the movie. But 'Ho' deserves its place in the eighties hall of fame. It came before the Transformers movie and perhaps even paved the way for it. Proving that cartoon films were worth funding. It starts with a very young Liono escaping a falling apart Thundera. The story manages to include every friend and foe of the thundercats. And the cheesey line deliveries don't lose their appeal over the 91minutes. j
The Greatest Cartoon!Review date: 2003-06-17 Rating: 10 out of 10This is without doubt the barometer for all cartoons ever made. It is a truely fantastic and timeless tale of good against evil. Any body who was a kid in the 80's will know the basic story of the thundercats, for those who dont - The thundercats left their home planet just before it was destroyed, led by liono they set up home on the third earth. They battle against the evil Mumra and the mutant hordes.- This is a must see for anyone who even vaguely remembers the original show and for anyone else. All thats needed is a full rerun of the show. A true five star cartoon that has not been matched.
