Shalimar's unreliable former lover Zack involves Mutant X in the heist of a Faberge egg in which important genetic code has been hidden. Mutant X takes the useful SF trope of the mutant minority persecuted by the state and adds potentially interesting spins on which it rarely delivers. After a couple of pilot episodes that pushed into OTT visual stylishness, the show has settled into mildly repetitive though watchable blandness: for the most part it avoids story arcs and a large cast of regulars in favour of plugging its characters into the stock plots of television SF, such as doubles, vengeance crusades and untrustworthy lovers.

the first episode on this is about a modern day vampire who sucks the life out of new mutants and he is after Emma and GSAgent Pamela who can raise and lower her body temperature. She touches him and freezes him and he appears 2 be dead......
Another episode is about this mutant who can steal a persons memories and he steals Adams memories! The GSA kidnap the memory stealing mutant in order 2 gain acess to muttant x's secret base. This ep also contains a great fight scene between Shalimar and Leena, a snake feral who is also a GSAgent. The extras include episodic trailers of the episodes, an interview with John Shea who plays Adam and an interview with the creators of mutant x.
