I am a huge fan of Ozzy and Sabbath, and there was a time when i thought this performance was AMAZING, dont get me wrong ozzy at 53 leapfrogging up and down like a crazy mo fo is funny. Then on July 11th 2005 i attended the download festival in which Black Sabbath Headlined, Now THIS was a performance like no other, Ozzy is 56 now, 3 years since the Budokan performance was recorded and he has gotten better. Maybe it was the Jetlag of performing in japan i dno but the fact is that The Budokan performance was good but not great. Ive Seen Better ...

ozzy is still as good as everReview date: 2003-08-11 Rating: 10 out of 10This is a brilliant dvd. ozzy a 53 year old man and he still sings like a 23 year old and he still moves like a 23 year old, You probably wouldnt believe that after watching the osbournes but he does move like a 23 year old on stage he sings some brilliant classics like "crazy train" "suicide solution" "bark at the moon" and "paranoid" so if you want to watch ozzy at his best get this dvdp.s it has a special osbournes episode and it is set in Budokhan
Not the best Ozzy performance.Review date: 2003-05-04 Rating: 4 out of 10Ozzy Osbourne Live at the Budokan is a dvd any hard core Ozzy fan should own if only for the quality of the sound and a great set list. The band led by Zakk Wylde is also brilliant. Unfortunately the major letdown in this dvd is the performance of Ozzy. His voice is not what it used to be, as can be witnessed on Mama I'm Coming Home and his energy levels are way down on past performances. His reluctance to leave the telepromter is also dis-concerting at times. Hopefully the Bark At The Moon and Ultimate Sin video's will be released on dvd as they are examples of Ozzy at his best. Not The Best!Review date: 2003-04-23 Rating: 6 out of 10This Dvd is amusing in a few ways such as a 53 year old frog leaping on the stage - Nutter! and the special Osbournes episode is good to, the Zaak Wylde guitar solo is damn good! he plays behind his back and with his teeth-the mans a god! Ozzy however dissapoints me, as a huge fan who has his all his solo albums including the live ones this is a huge disapointment. He forgot the words and the crowd sang more in tune than him! However the DVD is entertaining and good value for money!Ozzy in Concert, purely brilliant!Review date: 2003-01-05 Rating: 10 out of 10Having become quite an Ozzy fan within the past year, partly because of that Reality Show about he and his family, I am hooked on the music this guy performs. I have already purchased all his albums from right here on Amazon and listen to the Ozz-Man everyday whilst heading to or from work, as well as to relax in the evening. I received the Black Sabbath DVD at Christmas detailing the Ozzy years and enjoyed the footage of Ozzy performing. That got me looking for a DVD or Video of Ozzy live in concert. I found this DVD and purchased it. Amazing is all I can say. For nearly an hour and a half Ozzy belts out his classic tunes from Crazy Train, Bark at the Moon, See you on the Other side, Shot in the Dark, Road to Nowhere and the song he wrote for his wife Sharon, Mama I'm Coming Home. An excellent DVD I'd recommend to any Ozzy fan or any music fan who wants to remember what music was about before all the manufactured/reality TV bands and singers took over. Will Young, Gareth Gates, Girls Aloud might be the flavour of the month but will they still be around and remembered in 30 years time? I doubt it Ozzy has been going for 30 years and shows no sign of stopping yet, in fact he hasn't even reached his peak.
