Great stuff really enjoyed this series, from boys to girls and suitable for adults, it was a bit of an unexpected ending, ladies get the kleanex out if you like clean fun but not over the top then this is one to watch no swearing thank goodness. Please start from season one and follow each season both parts to fully aprecieate this exceptional viewing

A real delight...

I make no secret of my love of XWP and the sixth season been terrific through and through with a real return to the loving and fun relationship between its two lead characters - The second box set contains some cracking episodes. 'The God you Know' features a great performance from Alexis Arquette as a barmy Caligula. 'To Helicon and Back' is a brilliant war story -harrowing in many parts. 'Last of the Centaurs' contains a grim scene of dead centaurs which reduced me to tears. 'When Fates Collide' - has to be one of the best XWP episodes ever - a moving, alternate time line story, with some beautiful acting. And as for the two part finale - what can I say? The story is gripping all the way to the end as our two heroines battle Yodoshi and Xena makes the most difficult choice of all. I know the series finale caused uproar amongst the fans and I know why. It's an ending that left me devastated, moved and desparate for more. My vote goes out to Rob, Lucy, Renee and the gang... let's get this series back.... this time on the big screen.

Those DVD's are almost perfect!I think that every fan of XWP will appreciate them.They contain all the episodes of the 6th season and-thank God!-they are in the proper episode sequence,in addition with Season 1 DVD's.Also,the picture and the sound quality are perfect.Unfortunately,the extras are missing.And for the Xena fans,the bonus staff are important.That's why i'm saying that those DVD's are almost perfect.Cause,if they had those extras in them,they would be just perfect!!

Lovers of "Xena" who have not seen the last episode--contained on this DVD--don't! This is the last of the series. For me that last episode ruined "Xena" for me. I had bought all the other DVDs first and saved this one for last. I moved to France before "Xena's" end so I had never seen these episodes. Now, possibly I will never be able to enjoy "Xena" again after this last episode. For the 6 seasons of "Xena", the plot builds, the characters develop and one has that it's leading up to something. If you want to leave open that window of hope and possibity for your favorite characters, don't watch this. Xena doesn't not finish in a blaze of glory but defeat, and the Xena-Gabrielle relationship ends definitively (but it's better you don't know how). The plots are thin and underdeveloped. It's never clear why this happens. It's badly written and misogynistic, whereas the first episodes of 'Xena" were so full of love, and hope, and equality for everybody, and doing good. This last set of episodes is dark , violent and sad. Already, the 6th season is lacking because they are years into future so all their old relationships and friends are gone. To sum up, it was a big disappointment.
