A cabinet piece played out between only four characters in a fine plot with intriguing twists, working sort of retrograde. This bloodsoaked actioner has a slick and atmospheric look, beautifully photographed. Gina Bellman does little more than looking decoratively tough in black, while Dolph easily acts for the two of them.
Spotter: "Yeah. That's not a saying, it's a joke. An OLD joke."
Shooter: "Really! I never laughed."

Russell Mulcahey Directs this film with some style and Dolph Lundgren acts quite well not just by his standards but action stars all around, he really captures the torment and feeling of inevitable doom that the character has. This is not an all out action film but the cinematography and the background music keep it going, the action is well directed to make up for the slightly mish-mashed plot. All in all if there were awards specially for action films then Lundgren and the cinematographer would have had one each for that year.
