This is one of our favourite films
- to put it in the disgusting and creepy American Pie genre is to grossly understate it. Do watch it - it's about every guy's search for Miss Right.

Brilliant Teen Comedy

Very much in the style of the American Pie movies, Buying the Cow is actually aimed towards men much more than women due to its course humour, sexist dialogue and non-sensentive situations. However, this film is one of the funniest I have seen for a long time.
Despite being a straight-to-DVD film, this is very worth buying as it definitely has repetitive replayability. The cast are perfect and always deliver their lines spot-on. The film is rated a 15 due to strong language, nudity (male and female, but always used for laughs) and some drug use.
Overall, I would strongly reccomend you to buy this.
There Is No Such Thing As The One

Hidden in the midst of straight-to-video releases, this film is a head and shoulders above the rest, and it boggles my mind that it did not achieve theatrical release.
While the subject matter is somewhat unoriginal (games a man must play to land the perfect woman and the pros and cons of commitment/marriage), the film has a great script that gives these themes a freshness not seen in most romantic comedies.
Perhaps the film's strongest suit is the cast. Ryan Reynolds, Bill Bellamy and Jerry O'Connell work great together, and never once does the witty dialog seem forced or unbelievable. The interaction seems realistic, and most importantly, personal (from the male standpoint, anyway). The film is funny yet smart, giving a variety of perspectives on the subject matter.
The problem I have with this film is that the ending is a bit abrupt (I won't give anything away, but you'll see what I mean). I felt a little more elaboration might have tied things up a bit better. However, don't let this deter you, 'Buying the Cow' is worth seeing.

This film is genius!
RYAN REYNOLDS(The Amytiville Horror) is an absolute stunner in this film (With a lot of eye candy) and is absolutely funny throughout!
If you like American Pie/Roadtrip/Eurotrip, then this is the film for you!
Or if you just wanna stare at Ryan Reynolds in the buff!!!
