Quirky but good

Peter Falk is superb as the quirky detective. Have you ever noticed that he never leaves a room the first time - he always 'remembers' something else he needs to ask! The music is also excellent and the plots believable. They don't make them like this any more - and that's a great shame.

As predictable as Columbo is, its great viewing and I am such a fan. Highly entertaining. Falk at his effortless best.

Columbo is one of the best TV series’ ever made. I’ve never seen the pilot and this DVD gave me the opportunity. I’ve enjoyed so much these 3 episodes that as soon as I’ve done watching them I was hungry for more. Peter Falk is so wonderful and sweet as Columbo.
It is time that a lot more episodes will be released on DVD.

It's fascinating to see Columbo in the pilot episode where all the familiar features - the filthy mac, the cigar, the one more question - are present and to see some other episodes that haven't been repeated infinite times on t.v. However, I think this disk is really for the die hard fan. They - like me - will probably find it delightful

Columbo is one of those TV-series that entered the hall of fame of cult, and probably what Peter Falk is universally associated to. The clever, clumsy, shy, funny detective in his ragged raincoat and his famous grin is in everybody's memory: this collection is a must for at least 2 generations!
