...you like poorly acted, badly dubbed, humourless, storyless excuses for directors to live out their sad parody of male sexual fantasy. It lacks the creativity to be an 'art film' and the explicitness to be pornography. Avoid it at all costs!

I saw this film at college as part of our media studies foreign film genre studies. Was I impressed of what?! Not only are these Italian directors a credit to their film industry, but they could teach these British film makers a thing or two about how to make a film titalating! Set in 1940s Italy, a lone bar owner Miranda, embarks on a series of love affairs with as many people as she can find, only to replace her lost Luigi, missing in action in the war. Looking for sex? Well look no further. Looking for art, well here it is! A must for everyone!!*****
