What I didn't expect, was to see the human side to these petty criminals. I was nearly moved to tears when Phil confessed that he spent ten years living as a woman in darkest Soho. I was positively sobbing when Grant revealed his undying love for his pet mongoose, tragically squashed underneath a passing Land Rover. I cannot give away the ending but the twist involving Peggy, the unopened tin of Vaseline and a Cuban Cigar really tops off what is sure to be one of the best unacclaimed movies of all time. Excellent viewing.

Everybody knows what to expect when the Mitchell brothers come a knockin'. Fists, pint glasses and furrowed brows fly around in a hurricane of East London fury for the majority of this blockbuster edition of EastEnders.

Fans of this gritty, compelling series will lap every minute up. Here we take a trip down memory lane and see some of the most dramatic storylines involving the Mitchells including where Grant discovers Phil and Sharons illicit affair and comic moments where Phil is seen dancing around the Queen Vic with Ethell. Does'nt have the same compelling continuity of The Den And Angie Years video as it features flashbacks from all over the series in no particular order but is still worth a look. Babara Windsor livens things up though and as always her on screen charisma shines through like a breath of fresh air. recommended!

The brothers, holed-up in the Vic having a late-nighter, engage in some mutual soul searching and recrimination. Dry and laconic in style, it is an unashamed excuse to embark upon an orgy of nostalgia. Ross Kemp extends himself fully, by treating us to his COMPLETE repertoire, i.e. he uses BOTH his expressions, and Steve McFadden plays the drunk for all it's worth. Culminating in a moderately amusing dance skit, it's entertaining enough, and will have a strong appeal for lovers of the soap's nostalgia. A slightly lazy formula however.

The two hardest nuts to inhabit Albert Square in the history of the series ( Dirty Den was a baby compared to these two ) the Mitchell bruvvers in a video that will never be shown on t.v. "BANG OUT OF ORDER! AND SORT IT OUT WILL YA!"
A must see for all fans of EastEnders!

Grant and Phil after opening hours- the perfect opportunity for trouble. The Mitchells perform well, but this feature episode lacks a good script- it's not a video you can watch again and again. It is good fun, though, and Barbara Windsor's brilliant acting helps make this a hit!
