Walt Disney studios had previously adapted Sheila Burnford's classic animal-adventure novel The Incredible Journey in 1963, and the story proves just as durable in this popular 1993 version, Homeward Bound, in which the heroic trio of animals are given voices provided by Don Ameche, Michael J Fox, and Sally Field. They don't actually speak (like the clever critters in Babe), but we hear their "voices" as the lost household pets--Shadow the golden retriever, Chance the bulldog, and Sassy the cat--survive a harrowing series of adventures as they struggle to find their way home. Perfect entertainment for kids, this frequently clever movie offers an abundance of wildlife and beautiful location scenery, and the vocal performances by Ameche, Fox and Field are surprisingly effective. this movie is simply awsome with sarcastic cat and a dumb bulldog it doesnt get much better makes a good family movie that never seems to get old

sassy has the best lines she is my favourite it is about shadow a golden retervier who is old sassy the cat and chance the bull dog lives with the family friends but they want to go home and find there family who have gone to san francsico with out them. i watched this film yesterday 24th June 2007 it is a excellent film worth watching i would watch this film again. i did not cry at this film nearly need when the pets got retunited with the family and when they was left with family friends i like disney films i did not cry but normally do at sad films and some other films chance also gets stung by a prickly looking hedgehog shadow falls down the floor and sassy walks along a log on river falls in and shadow swims after her to help even though he is old and they think she is not alive and is found by the river alive gets looked after and then goes and person says ok but don't go near anymore rivers you can hear the animals talking. chance is the first to return home then sassy and then shadow is the last to return home but they think he is old and might not return home.

First of all i must say this is a great family movie though many may just find talking dogs weird. Thats what it basically is, three animals, two dogs and a cat that are left behind whilst theyre family are on vacation. They are not happy where theyre staying so they decide to try and find their family.

This film is from Disney and stars two dogs and a cat,
This is about a film torn apart when the animals owners move in a small apartment and are forced to leave thier pets with a family friend.
The three domestic animals have may adventres as the bid to find their loving owners and find their way home.
This pulls at your heartstrings late on as you get to know the animals you may hate dogs or cats but 5his film enderes to to all three.
You'll love Sassy the Cat she has the best lines.
Tears will come to your eyes and you'll want cry you may not like weepy film but if you like Disney this is a must.

Three animals run away from their make-do home while their family is away, specifically to find them. This film takes you through all their entertaining and sometimes tragic adventures.
I can honestly say this is one of the only films I have cried at, because I am a great animal lover and this film pushed all the right buttons! I think any animal lover is sure to love it like me!
