Godzilla 2000, an excellent godzilla movie!!!!

Godzilla, my all time favourite monster has been redesigned for this millenium series. Personally I am one of those who didnt appreciate the horrible hollywood version, so for those who want to forget that movie, I recommend you watch this Godzilla movie, the original japanese Godzilla.
The special effects are superb and Godzilla looks very different since the showa and heisei series, but its still the same guy in the monster suit that destroys buildings and everything else quite frankly.
His opponent in this starts out to be a six hundred pound rock (alien species naturally) and then morphs into a Biollante sort monster. While some of the film drags, the monster scenes are fantastic and the climatic showdown near the end is unmissable.
If your a Godzilla fan like me, theres only three words GO FOR IT!!

not the best example of the series

as far as i judge godzilla films, this is one of the weakest of all, simply because it feels lazy compared to the madcap effects of the earlier titles such as "destroy all monsters" and "godzilla v mechagodzilla", and hasn't the plot and intensity of newer examples including "godzilla v megaguiras" and "final wars". t falls into the nothing category of the genre, likely treated as an attempt to whet tastebuds for the later titles, but feels rushed in production and poor in dialogue. i found this film in a bargain bin, and with hindsight, that is exactly where it belonged.

I highly recommend this film for Takao okawara(director)did a good job.This film kicks off a whole new sereis of Godzilla films because our radioactive reptile even looks different!So watch our favorite monster kick a nasty monsters but.Go Godzilla!
