Amazon.co.uk Review
Mike Judge, the creator and voice of MTV's insouciant Beavis and Butt-head characters, made his feature film directorial debut with this full-length B&B misadventure, which finds the boys going on a cross-country adventure after their all-important television set is stolen. Fans of the now-defunct TV show will obviously enjoy this film the most, though almost anyone with a passing awareness of the characters will find something to chuckle about. (The funniest recurring gag finds beleaguered B&B neighbour Tom Anderson constantly sabotaged by the guys while on vacation.) Celebrity voices are fun to pick out, particularly that of David Letterman, who rather appropriately plays Butt-head's long-lost father.--Tom Keogh, Amazon.com --This text refers to the VHS edition of this video
solid movie

the idea of beavis and butthead ran its course and is now laid to rest where it probably should have been sent years prior to their eventual demise.
The tv series was solid at first and then turned annoying, mainly due to the annoying and overly consistent sniggers of the two metal loving teenagers, who got into trouble and had no sense of right and wrong and stressed out all who came in contact with them.
So in 1997 at the height of their popularity a movie was released, and while i wondered if they could go the distance in a near feature length production the answer is a resounding maybe.
While more entertaining than the series and indeed more humourous, the same faults shined through at times, but with a story involving the boys who are mistaken as hitmen who think their mission is to seduce a lady as opposed to killing her,it is entertaining enough and thats fair enough by me.

OK, but the TV series was betterReview date: 2006-08-22 Rating: 6 out of 10The Beavis & Butthead TV episodes in the early-mid 90s were a guilty pleasure - the sort of juvenile smut most adults are ashamed to laugh at but find hilariously funny anyway. The creators of the series don't do a bad job in translating it to a film though predictably, find it difficult to sustain such basic humour over a long period.
Beavis & Butthead's road trip is worth seeing, especially if you like the TV series, though the shorter instalments of the latter are more likely to be remembered with fondness.

Beavis and butthead at the best, um... and worst. Even for non-fans this really is a must see, it's awesome! When they get on the bus full of nuns is just hilarious, this film is a true classic. You get all of the characters from the hit show, except for stuart :( but otherwise this is an excellent movie. This is better than South Park in my eyes and constantly funny.
