good but not the best
Review date: 2005-03-11 Rating: 8 out of 10

This latest series following the life of tenchi masaki takes a new turn.He is of to tokyo to learn how to be a priest so he can take over from his grandfather and obviousley moves away much to the dismay of the girls.
Thia series starts with all of them living with him from the start and we get an explanation later on but the stories are weird(mainly ryoko and washu being partners in crime)and the characters are drawn in a new way(mainly kiyone who looked like she had a complete makeover complete with new voice).
This series has more energy and is still funny right from the get-go with the honours of best joke going to tenchis grandfather suggesting sasami being tenchis bride.
this show features new characters like love interset sakuya and new villan yugi.
The villains of the piece seem to be sailor moon regects but a bit more crebral.
All in all this is not a bad series so isay this.To tenchi newbies this is a good series but i still sugest tenchi muyo and to tenchi veterens this series has some new ideas that may not seem so good but they work in the long run.to sum up good series worth getting but only if you have seen universe and muyo
