Really bad Salsa DVD

This is the worst Salsa instructional DVD I have ever seen and bought. I dance both Cuban and line style salsa but this DVD shows neither. The instructor just shuffles around with no technique or rythm. There are no demonstrations and no dance to salsa music. The instructor is completely worthless at salsa dance and he can't teach it.
The only people that can use this DVD is a couple that tries to learn together and will never dance with anybody else.

Basic level salsa lesson

I bought this DVD because I didn't want to show up to my first salsa lesson looking like a plonker! It takes you through some pretty basic moves at a decent rate... and then... stops.
Don't buy this if you already know how to do a few mambo turns... buy this if you prefer to build up a bit of confidence before hitting the (beginners lessons) dance floor!

Having read the previous reviews, I had high expectations, however this salsa DVD would be perfect if you had never been to a single lesson before. Having been to a couple of lessons myself, I found that it contained everything I had already learnt so was rather dissapointed. The footwork it showed was very good but overall I found it rather uninteresting to watch.

This DVD is amazing!!!!!! Loads of different moves for beginners to intermediate level! It truly is what it says on the box - SIMPLY SALSA. I have tried to learn to dance at home on many videos but this one far outstrips the rest! Multi-Angle helps me see the dance steps from various angles and Alsitair Saddler is a great instructor. His moves are easy to pick up and there's even details on how to make it sexier!!!!! AWSOME!!! This is the first time I've seen a professional production so well put together for the learner! What's more you get a whole CD album for free as well! You get 13 tracks - all longer than 4 mins each. Fantastic to practice to authentic Salsa music with different tempos for different levels. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!! If you are learning to dance Salsa then this is a MUST HAVE!!!
Only good if you have a partner - and where's my CD?

This states you get a free CD with Salsa music. Not so! You have to send off a form - which isn't included! Not great.
The first few clips, which show you the very basic moves, are fine. But then you need a partner, so most of this DVD was pointless for me.
